BUSY DAY

We've had a fun busy day today. And I wanted to share a few picture with you. We worked in the yard a bit. Casey got to ride in the bobcat with Chad and he LOVED it! Then we had to go dump the dirt out of the dump trailer so we went down to this field where.......There was a "DONKEY ON THE EDGE"- donkey from shrek ..... really just a donkey, a BIG, friendly donkey.

Then, since I had my camera taking pictures of Donkey, I had Carter take some pictures of me and Casey. We even found an old tub/water trough to sit in.

And this is just a sweet picture of my wonderful little puppy. His name is Grey, by the way. I changed it. It just fits better.

Hip Hop Thursday and some fun wall Vinyl from EAD.

It's HIP HOP Thursday! and Unity has a great new place to hang out. It's called myunityplace.com. I have a fun little group there called "Beyond the Challenge". Go and check it out! It's going to be a fun place to hang out with all your Unity friends. I made this headband as a first for the group. It's really quite simple to do. I used the butterfly stamp from the Unity April Kit Of The Month. I'll explain how to make it soon.

Here's something FABULOUS! I got some vinyl from E.A.D. Designs and put it up the other day. I LOVE it!!! Miss Shari (McStarry) designed it. She's awesome! You have GOT to check out the fun designs at E.A.D. It really is my wall, it just turned out so perfect that it doesn't look real!

I've been a bad blogger. I would say I'm sorry, but I've just been having so much fun with my kids in the WONDERFUL spring sunshine. So my blog had to take a backseat.

Okay, so I thought I'd share a couple things with you.
This is a lamp I've been thinking about doing for a while. LOL! I usually do that with everything. It takes me a while to actually COMPLETE the projects I start. I used burlap to cover this shade I got from IKEA. I think it was only $3. I stamped on it using my Unity Stamps; Feel the joy, and Linden Branch. I added some stickles to the red flowers to add some dimension. It was pretty fast and easy. I'm not sure why it took me so long to finally do it. I just used Fabri-tac to glue the burlap to the lamp shade. I really like the way it turned out. It really matches the style in my home.

And second...... we have a winner!!! WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!! I SKIPPED MINE, AND NOW I'M THINNER!! LOL!!! yes, I am occasionally a dork out loud.

HIP HOP THURSDAY & A NAME

It's that day of the week! HIP HOP THURSDAY! Unity will have something fun to release AGAIN! They are so on the ball! This week, it's baby week. So be sure to check out the

I wanted to share this one because she used my images so well. She always makes me feel honored.

So, I've been asking around for suggestions for a name for my dog. Karen, we actually did name him Blue for a minute. I loved your spin on that name BTW. BUT, then I was on SCS and one of my friends(Carole) suggested the name Huckleberry.
So that made me think of Huck Finn
which made me think of just Finn
which made me think of Finley.
I LOVE the name Finley.
