So proud!

I got my KOM from Unity the other day. I couldn't wait to use the stamps I designed. I can't believe how I felt when I first used my stamps. I know it sounds so corny, but this is such a big deal for me. So this is the first card I made using the stamps I designed. HOW EXCITING!! I designed the tree and frame(which I cut into a bracket), and the row of flowers(not used on this card). The other stamps are from the other extremely talented Unity artists. I hope you like it as much as I do. I promise I won't ever be this conceded again! I'm just too excited.

Wallet photo book

I have had SO many hits on this post. I'm so curious to see what everyone is making. Please leave a link to your creations so I can see what I have inspired. I would love it! (comment added Dec. 14th)



I had so many requests for a pattern for the wallet photo book I made. So I drew one up tonight in between kids being sick. I hope it explains itself. I'm not very good at instructions. Here's the wallet:



And here is the template for it:



When cutting the insert, cut 2 strips that are 4 1/2" x 12" and glue them together using 1 of the small 3/4" ends. The other 3/4" end can just be cut off. Then glue the accordian to the center of the inside of the wallet . For the wallet I glued 2 pieces of patterned paper together to make it stronger. Let me know if you have any questions. Unity Wednesday Challenge on Tuesday! (NIGHT)

I ran into a few setbacks today, but managed to get this card done and photographed in time for the challenge. Since it's Thanksgiving on Thursday, we're having Hip Hop on Wednesday, which is the reason my Wednesday challenge card is on Tuesday. Phew! Got that? We were challenged to make a card using Unity stamps and the colors red and white, oh! and make it a thank you card. I was thinking I was hating my card, but actually liked how it turned out.

A card and a few tags

I've been tagged 3 times. I guess I should catch them up. But first, here's a card I made tonight using this fun hunting set from Unity Stamp Co. called Road Trip. We have a lot of pictures of the boys and their dad hunting, so this will be a super fun set.

So I'll just do it all at once.

7 Random Facts about me:

1*I am a lover of all animals. I love ALMOST all of them. I HATE spiders, which aren't really animals, but have legs and are sometimes furry! EEK! But I would have 10 cats and 10 dogs and 10 birds and 10........ if my hubby didn't keep me in line. Sadly I only have 2 parakeets right now. But the minute I move into my house, watch out!

2*My favorite dessert is Chocolate Molten Cake ( I hear Kazan makes a good one!) *hint, hint* ;0

3*Some people might say I have adult ADD. I call it craft ADD(someone else said this, can't remember who) I can't have just one project going at once, and the ones that don't HAVE to be finished, usually don't get done.

4*In the past, I haven't been organized, AT ALL! I say in the past because I'm working on it, and staying POSITIVE!! I don't know if it's a right left brain thing or what, but I'M WORKING ON IT!!

5*I love change. I change my furniture around at least once every 2 months. I change my hair at least once a month, and I rarely change my underwear! LOL HAHAHA Just kidding!!!! Just checking to see who is really reading this. I change them DAILY!!

6*I haven't read the Twilight series and don't plan on it any time soon. *GASP* yes, some of you are SO shocked. ( My Unity friends to be exact)

7* I ramble. I talk. I gab. I blah blah blah. I go a bit overboard. To sum it up, I can't shutup sometimes(Tanis, no laughing!!). This has been a problem for me. I really like friends and people and conversation so I talk, and talk, and talk(or type). I then leave fealing like I blew it! I just made everyone so annoyed with me and should have quit talking, I should just keep it simple(like right now). But I do it again the next time. I guess that's just who I am. I just can't quit.
