2 Sketches 4 You

Okay, you all know I'm totally addicted to 2 Sketches 4 You. So I don't need to say anymore about how I have one more card, because I think I do this almost every week. I really like this card a lot better than the other one I did for this sketch. I realized that my first card didn't really look like the sketch all that much. I stayed up soooo late last night doing some printing for my hubby. He draws house plans, and his plotter (BIG printer) has to be manually fed the paper. Anyway, I made this card for the sketch. I used this recycled pad of 4x6 paper from K&Company that I got from Walmart. To make the little square piece of tinseled paper, I rubbed the whole thing with my versamark, covered it in embossing tinsel and then used the bottom of my SU marker lid to make circles. For the funky flower, I just cut strips of paper and glued them together. I put little silver jump rings and jewels on the ends of the strips. Then I added one of my favorite things to the center. (WE R MEMORY KEEPERS snaps).

CASEY AT THE BAT
When we named our son Casey, we both thought of that name as an old fashioned all American baseball kid name. Probably becuase of the poem Casey At The Bat. In which Casey actually strikes out! But I think that my Casey is going to be an amazing ball player and hopefully have very few strike outs! Judging from his love and determination of the game already(at 17 months old), I think I might be right.
