I've been working with Lynda, the owner of Legacy Scrapbooking, on a new product. I'm very excited to introduce this new line to you. It's Legacy Scrapbookings own line. They're called D'Legacies. They are chipboard albums, die cuts(coming soon), and hand dipped tags. I love chipboard everything. Take a look at all of these fun new products in the store. Just click HERE and you can browse around and see all the new things. And, yes Tanis, there is an owl album too. My favorites are the owl, snail, and popcorn.Oh, and I can't forget..... the prices on these are amazing! Check them out.

2 Sketches 4 You and more new stamps!
I used the sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You for this little mini notebook. Also I used more stamps that are coming out on Sept. 3rd at Pink Persimmon.
Steps for making the notebook:
Make a faux binding by folding a peice of cardstock in half and sewing a piece of 6x6 paper to each end. I then cut 5.5"X6" pieces of white cards stock. To perforate the edges, just take the thread out of your sewing machine and sew a straight line about 5/8" from the edge. Then just glue the pieces of white cardstock together along the edge(the small side of the perforation). Then glue them into the shell of the notebook.
I paper pieced the fairy stamp with the patterned paper that I used for the rest of the notebook. To make the fairy dust, I just used my stickles and glitter glue, and spread it around.
Paper: Daisy Bucket Desings, Playful Petals collection

New stamps from Pink Persimmon
Isn't that huge scalloped journaling stamp fabulous?! It comes out on Sept. 3rd at Pink Persimmon. I love it! The word Papa is from the alphabet set called Carnival Alpha set. If you look close you can see I sewed around the edge of the scalloped stamped image. I LOVE that stamp!

Digital challenge
I love this blog I found recently. It's The Sprague Lab, by Jessica Sprague. She does a thing called Photoshop Friday where she teaches you new techniques to use in Adobe Photoshop. I love it! I've used her techniques and tips over and over. Well today she posted a challenge to use a screen shot of a map on a layout. So I used the map of my new house address. I really enjoyed trying something new and different for a page. If you haven't checked out her blog, check it out now. You'll love it too.

Caardvarks - Name That Tuna
Here's my card for the Caardvarks challenge: Name That Tuna. It's a music themed challenge this week. I really enjoyed making this card. I used thickers from American Crafts, and covered them with a lot of sparkly glitter glue. I drew the guitar and put it together with a button and some gel pens. And the best part is the edges of the paper. I took a lighter and burned the edges to give it a "hard rocker" look.

CPS #78
I made this card for the sketch at Card Positioning Systems. I was very fortunate to get some stamps from Pink Persimmon before they're released. These are so way cute. I love them. Watch for them to be released in September. You'll love all the new stamps coming out. If you look close you'll see that I used some Glossy Accents on the eyes to make them pop a little.
Remember to place your order for the online party for TAC before Sat. the 23rd. Info above.
2 Sketches 4 You
I found time tonight to make a real card for the sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You. I used the fun stitches on my sewing machine all over the card. I found that if you put a piece of ribbon behind the thin paper, it works much better and the holes in the paper are a lot smaller. I think I'll be using my sewing machine a lot more after making this card.
Also, don't forget to place your order for the TAC online party that is posted above. I'm going to extend it for a couple more days. The last day to get your order in will be Sat. the 23rd. Thanks for everyone's orders!

2 Sketches 4 You
This might not count as a card for the sketch, but I might as well submit it. It's a digital card I made with some paper I picked up from Little Dreamer Designs. It's called Sweet Sensations. I just love this paper pack. It's my favorite so far. Check out the other creations from 2 Sketches 4 You.
Just not me.
For those of you who are sweet enough to come to my blog and leave comments about my creations, and those of you who I usually leave a comment for on your own blog; I'm sorry I've been a bit absent lately. Life has taken a strange and interesting turn recently. I should be back to my "normal" self before too long. I miss my online community and hope everyone will just be patient with me.

2 Sketches 4 You
I haven't been much of a blogger lately. Just catching up with things for the end of summer. But I did find time to make a card for the 2 Sketches 4 You challenge. I used my new alpha stamps from Pink Persimmon.
I got my new camera yesterday and am planning to go out and take some fun pictures of the kids today. I'm going to seperate my crafting blog and my personal blog soon. Probably in the next week. I'll let you know when, for those of you who are wanting to see pictures and info about our family.
Oh, one more thing. Does my blog adjust to fit your screen? I'm just realizing that it might not. Duh! Sometimes you just have to smack me upside the head. LOL Thanks for letting me know.
