I made this cute little album for Casey. He loves it! Want to see more? Check out the tutorial on the Pink Persimmon blog, where I am the guest designer this month.
And now for more pictures, again......
I just can't help myself. I'm camera happy lately. I just think Kelsey's a doll, and check out my handsome boys. Maybe it's just because I'm their mom, but I think they are stinkin' cute.

Indulge
I recently came across a challenge blog called The Design Experiment. This weeks challenge is to make a layout about what it is that you like to indulge in. I love Peanut Butter! I love it with creamy honey, chocolate, grape jam, in cookies, and I really love a peanut butter, banana, almond sandwich, on a toasted wheat english muffin. MMMMMM. So good. This is the layout I came up with. Have a great Monday everyone.

2 Sketches 4 You(last minute)
I'm a couple minutes late. But that's just how it goes around here. So here is my last minute card for 2 Sketches 4 You. I had to use my new Unity stamps just one more time this weekend. I love them. I made the background paper using the same stamps that I used for the focal point.

2 Sketches 4 You
Finally, something new to post. I haven't had much time for crafting lately. Hmm I wonder why ... football, indoor soccer, ballet, school. You all know how it is when your kids start getting older and getting involved in things. But I wouldn't want it any other way. Anyway, I made a card tonight using the Laura's sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You. I used the Ric Rac Rectangle stamp from Pink Persimmon. I'm the guest designer there this month, and have to tell everyone how much I LOVE their stamps. Really! Well, I'd go into detail, but it's 3am and I'm beat. Have a great weekend everyone. Oh, and I added a cute picture of Casey.Well, maybe two pictures. I just love that little guy!

Pasta Keeper
I made this pasta keeper from a paper mache box. I am the guest designer at Pink Persimmon and have been wanting to do this project with the scalloped journaling circle as the tag. So this is how it turned out. I love that stamp, you know. I've used it a lot already. I think I've used it more than any stamp ever. It goes with everything. I'm so excited to put it in my new house. OH, it just isn't coming soon enough. Hopefully by the end of October. So anywho!, Check out the new stamps at Pink Persimmon, they are wonderful!

New Stamps at Pink Persimmon!!!!!!!!
Guess what? The wonderful ladies at
Pink Persimmon
released their new stamps today. Wow!, I love them. Check them out
HERE.
Guess what else? I'm the guest designer for the month of September. THE MONTH! I might go
Pink Persimmon crazy!!!
When I last looked in the mirror, I thought I could see my skin turning a pinkish, persimmonish color. LOL! Okay, I might be taking it a little too far, but these ladies are seriously talented, and I'm actually a bit intimidated by it. So I'm very honored to be a guest designer.
Guess what else, else?? Judi gave a very usable, valuable tutorial called
"Just The Basics".
It's about card division, groupings, and numbers. You HAVE to check it out. Even if you are an EXPERT (ya, you know I'm talking about YOU[eh!]), you need to just check out this tutorial to get a refresher. Cuz, you know, sometimes we all forget the basics. So, here's a little peak at the new stamps: OH WAIT! I gave you a sneak peak. Just read down through my blog. (The ribbit card, the fairy notebook, the BIG, FABULOUS, scalloped journaling circle on the layout). While you're visiting Pink Persimmon, leave a comment on
THE BLOG
about what kind of stamps you'd like to see them make. Or just leave a comment here if you'd like. I'll be sure to pass it on.

2 Sketches 4 You
Finally! I have something to post. It feels like I've been a boring blogger lately. I found a few things for inspiration today, so I thought I'd give it a try. The first one was those tags that come on a new pair of pants. I was putting some new school clothes in the wash and was taking the tags off, when I seen it! One of those tags that fold over the rim of the pants and then is sewn together in 2 little spots. You know what I'm talking about? I thought "Hey! That would be cool on a card." (You like my detailed thoughts?) The second was a card that one of the design team members at 2 Sketches 4 You made. It was Jokes card. She sewed her chipboard!! It looks so cool. So I had to try it. Thanks, Joke, for the great idea. She always has great cards on her blog. I'm a bit addicted to sewing on my cards lately too. I like how it makes the paper look like fabric. Oh, and I can't forget the sketch at 2S4U. It's always inspirational.
